Amazing, man. I simply adore the character vibes here--so warm and sweet. The girl's expression is especially groovy. You did an awesome job illustrating the two's emotions, though. Very heartwarming! But the background...wow. I mean, I sososo much dig the sense of depth you gave this through colour and line. The contour implies stuff you didn't even have to draw with a great eloquence.
